Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain database-centric applications. The role involves writing efficient PL/SQL code, performance tuning, and working closely with application and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views
- Write optimized SQL queries and perform performance tuning
- Analyze and resolve database performance and data integrity issues
- Work with application teams to support backend database requirements
- Participate in database design, code reviews, and deployment activities
- Handle data migration, transformation, and validation
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security, and best practices
- Provide production support and troubleshoot critical issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with SQL performance tuning
- Good understanding of indexes, partitions, constraints, and execution plans
- Experience with packages, cursors, collections, and bulk operations
- Familiarity with Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Good to Have
- Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Experience with Crystal Reports
- Knowledge of BI/analytics systems
- Experience integrating databases with Java/.NET applications
